Donald Etkes, author of "Loving With Passion: Your Guide to the joy of Sexual Intimacy", holds a Ph.D. in psychology and is a licensed marriage and family therapist in private practice for over eighteen years. He is a UCLA-trained sex therapist and has a credential as a community college instructor in psychology. His office is located in Westwood, California.

A professional speaker, Etkes lectures on topics such as "Creating Success", "The 7 Keys To Loving With Passion", "How To Be A Better Lover", "Building Successful Relationships", "Understanding and Treating Sexual Addiction", and "Discovering Sexual Fulfillment". He has been listed in "Who's Who in Professional Speaking" and also trains other healing professionals to deal with various aspects of relationships and sexuality.

Etkes is a member of the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors and Therapists, and the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.

His father, Hugh O'Brian (known for playing Arnold Schwarzenegger's father in the movie Twins) totally ignored him as a child.
